Welcome to Hillsboro Publishing, the only publishing company named after my little hometown of Hillsboro, Indiana.

 

I’m John M Donovan, and I’ve been writing fiction all my life. I generally explore universal themes in a Midwestern setting, and my literary heroes and influences include John Steinbeck, John Gardner, Ray Bradbury, and Flannery O'Connor. My work is infused with natural humor, and my goal in every story is for readers to be carried along with the narrative flow--and to enjoy the ride.
